For another $10,000-to-win A-Main on Tuesday, Mike took a provisional into the show but was an early exit from the 40-lapper.
Returning to action on Thursday at All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) for the General Tire Winter Nationals, Mike’s eighth-place finish in his heat relegated him into the B-Main. Failing to achieve a transfer spot, Marlar used a provisional into the A-Main but was an early retiree on lap 17.
After Friday’s program fell to Mother Nature, Marlar’s sixth-place finish in his heat race on Saturday relegated him into the B-Main. Grabbing the third-and-final transfer spot, Mike locked into the 21st-starting position for the $15,000-to-win finale. Plagued by more issues in the feature, Marlar withdrew from competition on the 12th lap.
