Mike Marlar returns to Bristol Motor Speedway

On Friday night, Mike Marlar was back behind the wheel of the Tri-Rivers Enterprise No. 157 Late Model at the dirt-covered Bristol Motor Speedway (Bristol, Tenn.) for the final two rounds of the Bristol Dirt Nationals. With 30 XR Super Series entries on hand, Marlar laid down the fastest time in his group before placing first in his heat. Starting on the pole for the $50,000-to-win A-Main, Mike tagged the turns three and four wall while running in second on the 12th lap that ended his evening immediately. (Michael Moats photo)

The following night, Mike made hard contact with the wall in his heat, dropping him into the pit area. Receiving a provisional into the $50,000-to-win finale, Marlar made a few laps before pulling in.
