Top-10 finish in Rumble by the River at Port Royal

With the 51-car field divided into two groups for qualifying, Marlar timed in fourth-fastest in his group before placing second in his heat. Starting his preliminary feature in fourth, Mike lost ground early but mounted a late charge in the 25-lapper to finish fourth.
On Saturday, Mike grabbed the third-and-final transfer spot in his heat, which positioned him on the seventh row for the $50,000-to-win Rumble by the River A-Main. Breaking into the Top-10, Marlar gained six positions in the 50-lap affair to cross the line in seventh.
